Temple Graffiti: Animals and Plants
Graffito T20. Animal – Quadruped
An unknown quadruped facing right. This animal has an unusually long head decorated with vertical lines. With short legs, a long body, and short tail, it may be meant to represent a donkey, but this animal also resembles rock art depictions of hippopotami and pigs. Below the ancient graffito, a recent Arabic inscription spells the name Muwayyid.
