Made in China and traded to the Philippines, this carefully repaired celadon-glazed stoneware bowl may have been passed down within a family for generations. It was then buried with its owner in a grave on the island of Siquijor. Centuries later, it was excavated by a U-M archaeologist and brought to Ann Arbor.
