The University of Michigan Expedition to Kom Aushim (Karanis), 1924-1935
The University of Michigan Expedition to Karanis included a number of women: Mrs. L. Amundsen, Joy Fletcher-Allen, Mrs. J. L. Starkey, Mrs. S. Yeivin.		The identification of many of the women connected with the Karanis expedition in museum records by their husbands' names reflects the traditions of their time.
