Louise A. Shier
and
Elinor Mullett Husselman

were curators at the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology who played important roles in the cataloguing and publication of material from the Karanis expedition.

These photographs were taken at an exhibition opening in the 1960s. The two pictures above show Elinor Husseman and Louise Shier with Enoch Peterson, director of the Karanis excavation, and others. The photograph to the right shows Louise Shier with University of Michigan President Alexander Ruthven.
