Karanis Bibliography
NOTE: This annotated bibliography is designed to provide information about the history and archaeology of the site of Karanis. Although most of the bibliography for the University of Michigan 1924-35 excavation of Karanis is incorporated, we are still adding information on other excavations of the site, analyses and syntheses of the material from the exacavations and major groups of published texts from the site. So the bibliography should be taken as "work in progress."
