This manuscript contains a short treatise on uroscopy, De urinis, written in poetic form (352 verses) by the professor of medicine and Royal physician at Paris, Gilles de Corbeil. Uroscopy is an ancient technique used to diagnose diseases by connecting the color of the patient’s urine to a particular illness. Our manuscript also carries a commentary by the Italian physician and professor of medicine, Gentile da Foligno.
