Isis nursing Horus (Isis, Horus, Bes) Jasper, green to black 24 x 18 x 4 mm 1st–5th c. AD Egypt Phocion Tano. KM 26110

The obverse shows Isis lactans, seated on a throne and wearing tunic and mantle. She is holding the child Horus/Harpocrates on her knees. She wears the double-feather crown. Horus is crowned with the solar disk. An inscription around the edge reads as follows: αθθα βαθθα. The reverse displays a bearded Bes crowned with a feather crown. On the right is a crescent; on the left is an eight-pointed star. An inscription, beginning at bottom left, reads: τασβερβερετες.
